I wrote an article a while back about Luke for one of the several Trisomy web sites.
Things are going as well as can be expected. I will write more as time goes on, but I am a bit wary of sharing too much.
This I will share, the State of Virginia is ranked 48th in the support of those with Disabilities and need Medicaid support. We struggle with this daily.
I have taken up my old hobby again of Amateur Radio and building electronic things and experimenting. This is an outlet (Cathartic) for an otherwise VERY busy existence taking care of and supporting our Angelic son.
More posts to come..

A quote to ponder..
God is the life of all free beings. He is the salvation of all, of believers or unbelievers, of the just or the unjust, of the pious or the impious, of those freed from passions or those caught up in them, of monks or those living in the world, of the educated and the illitrate, of the healthy and the sick, of the young or the old. He is like the outpouring of light, the glimpse of the sun, or the changes of the weather which are the same for everyone without exception.

Nothing like having a late diagnosis for your son who has been going thru very difficult times, to re-arrange priorities. His diagnosis? Mosaic Trisomy 13. He is rare, very very rare. Few live as long as he has and he has a healthy heart to boot, which is even more rare yet. But, what he suffers from is devastating. He struggles with several mental disorders. Perhaps I will write more later. Perhaps some brighter stuff. Pray for us.
